Sources and credits

Two paper trails, and the deliberate decision not to fill the gaps.

This is an independent rebuild of the Lux Bio Group web presence. There is a complication worth stating first: there was no website to rebuild. The company left filings and a patent, and almost nothing else.

What exists. Five SEC Form D notices (2011–2015), one patented device with a family of publications (2012–2019), a Washington incorporation from 2010, and four names. No website, no brochure, no press release, no product literature, no photographs.

Provenance

Where each part came from

  • The entity, address and telephone — SEC Form D, accession 0001536312-14-000001, filed 12 February 2014: 829 NE 6th Avenue, Camas, WA 98607; (503) 799-7802; incorporated in Washington in 2010.
  • The people — the related persons list on the same filing: Jonathan DeHart (executive officer and director), Rich Wykoff and Rob Lipshutz (directors), and Scott Olson, who signed as secretary.
  • The offering — that filing: $675,000 offered and sold, four investors, $25,000 minimum, first sale 12 December 2013, industry group “Other Technology”, no revenues.
  • The filing history — the EDGAR company filing index for CIK 0001536312: two notices in December 2011, one in August 2013, the 2014 notice and a 2015 amendment.
  • The technology — US 10,422,000 B2, “Apparatus and method for molecular separation, purification, and sensing”, assignee Lux Bio Group Inc, inventor Gordon Holt, priority 2 April 2012, granted 24 September 2019.
  • The patent family — the publications listed on the patent: US 2013/0294711 A1, US 2015/0067602 A1, US 2017/0298432 A1 and US 2019/0291112 A1.

What this rebuild refuses to invent

The gaps are the story

  • A product. The patent describes an apparatus. No product name, datasheet, price or customer exists in the public record.
  • A business model. The filings say “Other Technology” and “no revenues”. They do not say what the company intended to sell.
  • A team page. No biographies, photographs or titles beyond the Form D relationships were published.
  • Use of proceeds. Form D does not contain one.
  • The company’s current state. The record stops in 2019 with the patent grant. Nothing here claims the company is active, or not.
  • Clinical or regulatory status. No clearance, approval or validation is claimed anywhere on this site.

Design

Drawn, not photographed

Because the company published no imagery at all, the visuals on this site are diagrams: the device schematic on the home and technology pages, and the layout around it. They are this rebuild’s drawings of the patent’s description, and each is captioned as a drawing.

The palette — deep teal, cyan, ink on white — is a choice, not a restoration. Inter is self-hosted as a woff2 and nothing loads from a third-party server.
